Easter dinner WINE - Let's set the stage, shall we?
Last year, at Easter Sunday dinner, I refrained from drinking my father-in-law's homemade wine, which has the alcohol content of a sherry (about 20%).
But I was triggered by watching others drink, so I drank when I got home - not good, obviously.
THIS Easter weekend, I am safe and sound at Homewood Health Centre (rehab hospital), in Guelph, 30 minutes west of Toronto.
I have made good alcoholic friends. I am learning more about this terrible addiction. And the food in the dining room is quite good, bonus time!!! ;-)
I want to get through this 5 week program, and then get back to work, where there reside about (I would roughly estimate) 10 or 12 alcoholics in denial.
Best part - the liquor store is closed tomorrow!

Keep up the optimism and never give up...you're worth it.
