I was reading some old posts, and this one grabbed me. It reminded me that no matter what problems I think I have today, they pale in comparison to the fact that people are dying every minute due to alcoholism.

We talk about how it's a matter of life and death, but we never think it might happen to us. I hope this helps someone who is struggling tonight to put the drink down.........

Unbelievable what this disease can do to people. It isn't a joke that's for sure, especially when you are in too deep.

I have read this before and need to be reminded daily how very sad and awful this disease is. All my prayers for those in and out of recovery.
