Hi everyone that was concerned for VodkaLover, I just talked to him about 20 mins ago and although he is in a bad spot right now, he is ok. I'm sorry Vodka if you didn't want me to post this, but you have a lot of people here that are worried and concerned about you, and that is a good thing.

I was worried too.

Vodkalover don't give up. I have been where you are and it gets better. Most of my time where you are is a blur but I remember trying to quit dozens of times. Once I started going to AA meetings and talking to people after the meetings it got much better. I could never have quit on my own. I needed AA. I think a lot of us we need AA or another program. What we all really need is love, acceptance, understanding and respect and you will get all that here. I am not better than you, I am just like you.

Thank you for letting us know. I am not a doctor but with his history that he stated he probably needs a professional detox?

Thanks Stacy for letting us know, I am glad Vodka that you have spoken to someone. But Hun....you are not OK.

Please look at the link for the Salvation Army.... please get the detox you need....

We all care, we have all been in a similar situation, but I can only say again...you must do this for yourself.
