180 days today...go me!!!

Longest time I've been sober. It has gone so quickly, its hard to believe I made it this far...though its taken me a fair few relapses in this past to really want it this time. I stopped drinking and took up smoking again...well today is day one of no smoking and I feel weak...I'm doing it though cos well it's stupid not to lol. On iPad so can't type much. For the people on day 1, 2, 3...it feels like only yesterday I said enough is enough, the time flies when your choosing life :-)

Congrats on 180 days!!! Quiting the nicotine is tough I've failed fairly quickly and am going to go for another quit here in the near future. You right time flies when your living life to the fullest. Congrats again Liz!

You can do it! This will be my 3millionth time I've quit smoking too. Least I've still got red cordial and chocolate woohoo

Good for you!!! Its so nice to hear when people have slipped up and eaten a piece of chocolate they dont eat the whole block lol. Happy 1st Day for tomorrow, I know ive had plenty of them.

3 months is amazing, and im serious it really didnt feel all that long ago, getting to 3 months was a huge goal, then I tried to just accept the days as they came. One thing I didnt do this time is count the days (I do check in very very rarely to remind me how far ive come). I set up a reminder on my phone for every 30 days. It was a lovely surprise at 8am this morn...made my freakin day!

Thanks everyone for you support. I dont post alot but this forum has helped me more than you will ever know
