Another try.

Hi all, I hope you are well. I am applying for yet another job- again at my dream place of employment. I have come so close a number of times with grueling interviews etc. but have yet to be hired

I need a proper job SO badly- I am used to financial autonomy and privacy, I haven't had that in far too long. Being unemployed/ underemployed has really brought me down please wish me luck- I need to move out of this awful neighborhood... just want my own place and a cat.

Good luck to you! I really hope you get it. Great advice earlier in the thread to act positive. Also, aim to connect in a natural, genuine way to who ever you are interviewing with. That always seems to help me. All the best to you.

I was unemployed over 6 months I think..I started to panic because people kept saying that after so many months unemployed I would be considered undesirable..as in why would someone want to hire me if noone else wanted to for over six months...

Anyways, I have a job now- no I don't make as much money as I used to but that's because I choose to work less hours. Now that I'm sober, I want to see my kids more and participate in their lives more. It's a trade off we can live with and brings many rewards.
