Reading through all these makes me wince, because I've been there and do not miss it. So thankful that this has not been a part of my life for the last 10 months.
It's amazing what we put ourselves through.

The hangovers never really got epic for me. They ought to have, considering I was drinking three bottles of wine a day at the end. But it was always just mild nausea, and that vague kind of shaky feeling, where you're not actually shaking, but you feel like you should be?

The worst part of the day after drinking for me was the wanting. I'd wake up and want to keep drinking immediately. I would have to force myself through a few hours sober before I started again, so as not to pass out too-too early in the day.

What a waste of my life.

Maybe if I'd been prone to worse hangovers I'd have quit earlier.
