Hello. I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the members on here who have been so supportive, when i first realized i was an alcoholic, i never in any way thought that i could find a communtiy for people like me that is so supportive and kind to me, It has helped greatly in my attempt at sobriety, sadly i currently do drink, but much much less and much later in the evening than I used to last month before i joined this forum, people here understand me and my problems, alot of my close friends do not even support me nor understand this problem i have, it is nice to be at a place where everyone knows what ive been through because everyone has been through alcoholism! When i log onto here and either read members posts, or go into the chat room i am always greeted with a warm welcome, it is much appriciated, whenever i feel the urge to take a drink i log onto here and when i talk to these people i feel so much better about myself and my addiction. Just wanted to say a big thank you to all current members here and to all new members i encourage you to continue to post here as this is a wonderful place where everybody is kind and understanding of your problem! Thank You!

Dear Moe , we are really glad to know that SR is helping you . It is the same for me . My life is much better after I joined SR . I , too make a point to log into SR whenever I can and I definitely login during late evening and continue till 10 pm . it helps me to keep mental obsession of having 1st drink away . Keep posting and all the best .
