Well, AA has a book called... "Living Sober"...
You will be able to find a copy at a meeting, or perhaps you can find it online. It has lots of suggestions to help you through early sobriety.
Good luck! It can be done!!

All the suggestions above are good. I also like "Seven Weeks to Sobriety" by Joan Matthews Larson, as it has a lot of great stuff for repairing biochemical damage through nutrition and supplements.
Here are a couple other thoughts:
Rational Recovery, by Jack Trimpey
The AA Twelve and Twelve
How to Give Up Alcohol and Be Glad You Did (don't remember the author, it is recommended by SMART recovery)
The Easy Way to Quit Drinking by Allen Carr

I think that Eckhart Tolle's books 'The Power of Now' and 'A Good Earth' are excellent books for helping to live in the moment and to maintain healthy boundaries. Neither of those books are easy reads, but definitely worth the time.

For a bit of a twist, try the Edward Bear books:
The Dark Night of Recovery
The seven deadly Needs
The Seven Deadly Fears
Relapse and Recovery
The cocktail Cart
I can't get enough of this author (now deceased). They are easy reads and for all the meetings I have been to, I have really had some moments where I thought "Oh, [I]that's[I] what it means! Duh!
Caroline Knapp's "Drinking, a Love Story" was the first book on alcoholism that I every read, and I consider it to have been the fundamental to my recognizing that I had a real problem and that all my issues were not unique after all.

Good Book
I personally like "As bill sees it". There are other books worth mentioning including ones with daily meditations in them as well. Anything -especially by hazelden- is worth reading and the AA grapevine of course.
best of luck and good reading...

I found this book to be very helpful: "An Adult Child's Guide to What's 'Normal'" by John C. Friel Ph.D.
Congrats on your 6 days. One day at a time, one foot in front of the other. It really does work

GIFTS OF SOBRIETY by Barabara S. Cole. Hazeldon publishes a whole slew of books and most of them are great. Caroline Knapp's DRINKING A LOVE STORY that has been suggested is one of the best I've read, too.
Eckhart Tolle's POWER OF NOW that Anna suggested absolutely changed my life. Definitely works the cause and not just the symptom! I had to force myself to keep reading it when I started because it just wasn't making sense, then a few chapters in it just completely hit me. Now when I re-read it, it makes total sense. Can't put it in words!
Lastly, HEALING THE ADDICTED BRAIN by Abraham Twerski, MD, and PLAYING IT BY HEART Melody Beattie.
I have a ton more. PM me if you run out--looks like you're overloaded for now, though.
