The one thing I have lost with my drinking is my desire to write and draw. I used to spend hours getting lost in my writing but as we all know, drinking tends to diminish all desire and passion for life. My boyfriend has been very supportive in my quest for sobriety; he isn't a drinker. Anyway, I have expressed my desire to get back to my writing and have been setting up a workspace for myself. I didn't have a very good computer as mine died last year. When I came home from work today, I noticed a heart and two kisses traced out in the snow. I came inside and sitting on my desk was a brand new laptop. I moved the mouse and Happy Valentines Day appeared on the screen with a little love note from my boyfriend. I was very touched as no one had ever done anything like that for me before. I just wanted to share it... :) Happy Valentines Day! ( 45 days sober )
