Was surprised to see him wearing the circle/pyramid on his neck.. Guess he's working the steps.. And is on the right track.

That album was great. His work got much better once he got the drugs and booze out of the system. It's done the same for me.

I missed the Grammy's so had to go and watch the videos. They were pretty choppy, but still good. The article I read talked about how you can FEEL his emotions, even when he's only out there for a minute or two.

I really love his brutal honesty about where he was, where he is, and where he wants to be...that's pretty much what recovery is about.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

I guessed I should've waited to log on!

Oh well...either way, I'm glad he won.
I haven't heard a lot of his latest album, but the little I have, im able to appreciate his lyrics on a more personal level.

his performance last night was unbelieveable. speechless.... and i've seen him live before.
whatever he's doing, i pray he keeps doing it.

i know the last interview i saw from him, he said he had just past the 18 month mark of sobriety.

for anone looking for some inspiration, his "recovery" album will provide it...especially, "not afraid"....that's definately one song to help those in recovery get through one more day. powerful powerful stuff.

good for him.

I was never a huge fan but his music is so linked with getting completely blacked out destroyed partying for me I don't think I could listen now.
The awards have really gotten absurd though. Iron Maiden for best metal performance...way to be current.

Not sure if you are being sarcastic about Iron Maiden winning best metal perfromance, but yeah they are still current. They comne out with a new album every 3-4 years. And there singing and song writing has never been berter. I didnt watch the grammy;s either, I Just couldnt stomach Ladly Ga Ga and M & M's crap.
