Kudzu RULES may be treatment for alcohol cravings

All over Georgia we have a vine called kudzu. It grows like crazy and covers entire fields and houses! The pods on this vine are being researched as a possible cure for alcohol cravings!

They sell Kudzy supplements online for alcohol cravings. I read about it on another recovery board and decided to try it. Unfortunately, it has not worked for me.

Hopefully there is someone else out here that has tried it and had success?

Take care

I believe that on our planet exists a cure for every ill. Aspirin is a surprisingly simple thing, but it totally changed the quality of our lives. Penicillin you can even make at home! It won't surprise me at all when they come up with a treatment for alcohol cravings.

I took Kudzu for 2 years because it was supposed to help me moderate, it did slow down my drinking, and I felt it helped my liver function so hangovers were not as bad, but overall it just gave me a false sense of security, and I ended up drinking the same way as usual. I haven't tried it for cravings, but I found another supplement that has helped me for cravings.

May be is also may not be ......... in my mind..
I'm glad research is on going.

Before jumping into anything....
please ask your doctor.

He/she would know about craving med's approved
by the medical professionals.

What works for you could harm another.
Supplements are not regulated ....some could be over priced nothing...

I took no med's for de toxing or cravings.
No way would I have ordered anything off line....
Or would I consider popping pills not prescribed by my doctore.

Kudzu has been an old wives remedy for many decades. You can find old grainy black and white photos of Southerners grazing along roadsides, getting ready for Friday night.

Like any of the endless cures for alcoholism...if you believe it works it works-for a while.

As I said above I used it religiously for about 2 years, and there was a difference but it just ended up giving me a false sense of security and it probably kept me from quitting earlier because I really wanted a way to moderate at the time.

Poats were removed from this thread that had
were promoting the use of this supplement and a drug.

As I said in my earlier post....
