Liver pain?
I only know what google told me. And of course that it went away when I quit drinking. TBH I still don't know if it was real. When I thought the liver was on the left side I had pain there.
Your liver is on your right side, under your rib cage.
It doesn't have nerves that can detect 'pain'. The pain that people feel that have liver disease is the pressure from enlargement or secretion of fluids on other parts of the body surrounding the liver.
That being said (and because the 'pain' can be so many things even if it IS from liver disease), please discuss it with your doctor.

I ignored my liver pain for a couple of years and now I'm getting liver biopsy's twice a year to check on the level of scar tissue that has formed from my alcoholism.
