iv had a bazillion day ones, but im happy to say this is day 1 sober, iv been reading the forums and in chats and will schedule a meeting with an alcohol counselor.

it only gets worse everytime i go back. i lose for friends, more family, more support, more money, more time.

im gonna keep trying till i get it.

I had a ton of false starts myself. Eventually I was able to get some sober time though. Keep posting!

Its like trying to jump up a very tall wall and hang on to the edge to pull your self over, you keep slipping every time until one day you latch onto that edge and finally pull yourself over. Never give up and you will one day get there.

I've had more day Ones than I can remember, but never gave up and finally 'got it' right.

For any alcoholic having 24 hours without a drink is a miracle. Remember, it's ONLY today you don't drink. That's all. Keep on keeping on
