Screwed up. Back to day 1.

Was hoping for today to be day 10. Back to step 1.

Drinking is a sign of not yet understanding, something we shouldn't beat ourselves up for whenever it takes place. And way better at 9 days than 9 years.

Maybe learn more about what you're up against?

GN...glad you are back. I tried so many times before I got it and what I can say is to learn from this and do it different. What I lacked was change and I needed help in doing that so I got face to face support and stayed here with SR.

No matter what happens nothing is better in the end with drinking so use your tools and reach out. Come here and share. We get it.

Do you have a new plan for your fresh start?

TheTinMan 01-11-2011 09:55 AM

Have you figured out what triggered the relapse? Figuring it out could go a long way to stop the next drink.

A big part is just don't give up and don't get down. Identify those triggers and the ways you combat them. Mine happened at the right time, place, circumstance and all that goes with it.

It's when that happens that you have to remember to play it all through and remember what the end result will be.
