My heart goes out to you. it takes a lot of courage to share from the heart and I urge you to keep on doing it. I am not going to lecture you on drinking you already know it will only make things worse. I started getting angry at some of the posts but I believe that some of them are coming from a place where they know how deadly this disease is and it stinks to know someone is taking their own life with alcohol. Please read the post before me I don't know about you but it brought tears to my eyes. No parent should have to outlive their kids. Keep the Faith

SO sorry to hear about your childrens' medical troubles... (((hugs)))

I agree with the others; drinking isn't going to help you or them get through this. It may numb the worst of the feelings for a short time but ultimately, we alcoholics are designed to carry our progression to its ridiculous and dangerous end.

Do you have any friends in recovery close by for some F2F help?
