its me again
its me again
hi everybody, its great for me to start this new year sober, my new sobriety date is 1st January 2011,
sorry, i know you have probably heard this a thousand times but this time i have had enough,
got back from Australia few days ago, we didnt drink over there much but all my cousin and his wife did was drink from dawn till dusk, they have 3 kids too,
made me realise i cant do this anymore, i want out, been to three AA meetings already this year and my life is looking brighter, i do have an awful lot of work to do regarding the steps, especially the resentment list (AGAIN)
i have honestly tried everything else though, what else is left for me ? nothing apart from my coffin,
well anyway, this is going to be a new start, i feel different somehow, cant explain it , blessings all xx

Glad you here Juli and back with a plan for the New Year. I couldn't agree more that when you really have had enough you make recovery your #1 focus and work your support like no tomorrow.
We are here for you and looking forward to the journey! You got this one!!

Welcome back!! Many of us fall off the path and slip up... Some of us just have more drinking to do.. I'm glad you have finally had enough and congrats on the sobriety date... It will be easy to count your days
