How do you start step 12
I've been in and out of aa for a year with many breakthroughs as well as relapses. Someone who I have only recently become friends with has indicated to me on many occasions that his friend "Mike" is an alcoholic. His wife left him and he created a disturbance at her house that resulted in his going to jail. He does not seem to have a plan for life and spends his time drinking.
I have never approached someone about something like this.. To boot, this man is physically intimidating, close to 300 lbs some fat but much of it muscle. I mean im not saying im afraid of him but I sure would not want to see him ticked off.
I have been thinking that maybe a meeting list and telling him some of my story is the way to start, privately 1 on 1 ?

Ever see the picture called "Man on the Bed?"
See how there are two people talking with the man? Take someone with you, preferably someone who's got some solid sobriety.
