Do the people that I have affected ever get over thinking of me as "The Drunk" I know it depends on the person I affected, but I was wondering if anybody can confirm that as I get closer to being sober more of years of my life then the years I was drunk, do people forget?

Depends on how often you see them...if you saw someone last as a drunk and you see them a year later you will still be a drunk to them...someone you see once a week may see you differently after time if you really change otherwise you are the drunk who doesn't drink anymore...so solution is to change and leave everyone else to make their own minds up:-)
