Day one anyone?
It's day one again for me. I don't feel awful, as a matter if fact I feel happy for the first time in quite a bit. I think my increase in meds is helping now. It's been back and forth for me for quite awhile- I know I've said as much before so thank you for tolerating my repeating myself. Is it day one for anyone else? Is it out of order to throw the idea of a buddy system out there, if anyone would like to join me? I hope everyone is well.
You don't have to 'be someone' sleepie - I start them all the time

I had my last drink at 1 this afternoon. I relapsed in august after 2 1/2 years sober.
I have been going back and forth since then... staying sober for a couple weeks then drinking again for a couple days.
I am new to this site....where would I find the December 2010 thread?
I need help

Everyday is day 1 for an alcoholic. I wise man I know in one of my AA groups always starts out with "Hi, I'm John and I'm an alcoholic and I've been sober since I got up this morning." He truly lives his life in 24 periods.
He's been saying the same line about 10,000 days in a row now, which works out to about 28 years of sobriety.
