Giving Up-ness
Giving Up-ness
I've been reading a book called, "The Victory of Surrender," by Gordon Ferguson.
It's the idea that we can either be laborers or owners of this thing called, "Life," and the ones that are most successful at the ups and downs are those who seem to understand where life comes from and on Whom they should rely (yes, this is "God-stuff").
"Give In To Win' is a paradox--one of many in a spiritual world where the question seems to be the answer and will keep the Deliberating Man (or woman) forever under the control of, well, 'Control.' If I surrender to what is, I can get on with my part--and do the next right thing--when it's presented to me: To simply love--and love to simply.
When all my ideas stopped working and I ran out of options, there was only one way left to turn: Up. So now I look Up. And I show Up. And I suit Up. And I live Up.
