Thanks for posting, I've never seen this and really enjoyed watching it. He makes a strong case for the disease model as well as using AA in recovery.

Great vid I've had that bookmarked for about the past year or so now and watch it every once in awhile. He really earned my respect by being as open & honest as he was there.

Must admit I thought of SR when he said 'find a group of people who have the same problem' but the phone book reference at the end wrapped it up brilliantly. What amazing skill and honesty....

That was informative, uplifting and cautionary without being graphic and frightening. I quite enjoyed it. It helped me not to drink last night.

This was great, I wonder how many people with an alcohol problem were up late watching this. I would like to think he touched many lives with this monologue. I had never seen this before today, this has made me appreciate sobriety even more.
