Positive steps
 

I have been a member of this forum for over a year, I was never an alcoholic, but I did have issues with drink.

I spend more time lurking than anything else. But I thought maybe I should do an update.

I no longer have an issue with alcohol, it is no longer in my life every day. I have the support of the Matthew project, their local office is the junction. I am also in a positive place with my mental health.

I still haven't seen my ex, I am very close to getting the decree absolute, my kids are happy, my pets are happy.

I am in the process of learning how to groom dogs and hopefully I will also be volunteering at the Junction.

There is no way that I could have even entertained the idea of any kind of job a year ago.
