how cool it is to wake up knowing I did NOT drink last night!!!

woohoo for me!!!

No real problems - I even slept ok. And I even helped with the baby last night!! (typically I'm out cold).

anyway - glad to actually have a normal, non hungover morning!

Tex - congrats! I am right there with you. Feels good, huh? Though I am still feeling a bit fuzzy and weak from that liter of vodka consumed Sat-Sun.

Hey friend - congrats and great job!! Yes, waking up without all the madness of drinking so much is such a wonderful feeling. Keep it up and just know that every day of sobriety will lead to another night of better sleep and a free conscious. I never realized how much I missed my family until I stopped drinking. I adore my time with them as you should. Keep it going and keep coming here - you have many people here on your side!

what a great statement. I hung with them last night, read books to the kids at bedtime, said prayers, and got lots of hugs and kisses.

needless to say, I missed this. and this is a great source of motivation for me.

Just registered to say I am also on the second day. I almost went out and bought some beer last night but I resisted. I slept all through the night last night. No diarrhea or sick feelings this morning. I hope I'm done for good.

Keep going man.
