Getting better!!!!
Hi,
I am getting better now.
I have been in rehab for a while and I will be leaving rehab in another 8 weeks. But because of al the drinking in the past I have had to have a liver transplant and a kidney transplant (the left). I was in hospital a very long time but then I went back to rehab after 3 weeks. This is why I have not been on the forum.
Without you people I would of never got to rehab.
When I am better I am enrolling on a open university degree in maths.
I only have a few mins a day internet access here!

Sure, you can have an occasional beer. All of us can insofar as we have mouths capable of taking in liquids.
Rather, is the occasional beer something you want, knowing that's how alcoholics typically fall back into a full-out relapse?
I've had a/one beer since I've been in recovery. It wasn't all that great. Didn't give me a buzz or anything; didn't taste all that much better than soda. Overall the experience was not so wonderful that I'd risk my sobriety to have it.
