Detox Hallucinations anyone?

I am on day 5 and I figured I was out of the woods on a seriously bad detox from alcohol. Then the last 2 days have been a nightmare. Everytime I close my eyes, I hvae conversations with people I usually know, and when I got Scared, I would wake up and they were gone. But tonight I woke up and was covered in some kind os spider webbing and I could see it flying around me! trust I have been under light bulbs the rest of tonight.. So I must remember how this felt so I can start not to do it again.

Please see a Dr Todd - it's the responsible thing to do - cover all your bases.

I had some strange feelings during first two weeks as well. I thought I heard noises, voices and people sometimes looked weird. I remember thinking if I was going a little looney and thought maybe it was due to one of the medications. But it went away. Then new stuff came along to deal with. ha ha, it's just one lovely road of recovery. Seeing life sober is a trip. Like an acid trip. All of a sudden you notice all these things that were usually a blurr.

i had hallucinations both auditory and visual. this is a sign that you're going through some very serious withdrawal. i agree with everyone else. you need to go see a doctor. when it gets this serious, it can turn very dangerous very quickly.

at the very least, go to an immediate care facility that treats withdrawal. there are usually a bunch of them in the phone book. just give them a ring and ask if they treat alcohol withdrawal. most do and it'll only cost you $50 or so.

good luck

It's definately time for a medical opinion Todd.
Please don't mess around with those symptoms.

I also encourage you to call your Dr. Not something to self diagnose my friend.
All the best.

I had basically the same thing but that was BEFORE I went into any kind of detox, and I had it really bad the night before I had my first seizure and that was just after two days of not drinking.
As everyone else said, get to your doctor. Mine started with the seeing/hearing things and I ended up in hospital for over two weeks.

ooops. I replied to an old post. Still, hallucinosis is not something to mess around with.
