a month

so i havent had a drink for just over 1 month, i dont really like counting days so i'm not sure of the exact no of days
i just wanted to share this small victory
thank you SR, and all the lovely people here,
god this feels like one of those 'oscar acceptance speech's' lol

one month is HUGE!!! I know it seems like a long road sometimes...but you will find as the months pass by, how good life can be..... do something special for yourself to celebrate...you deserve it!!

Thanks for sharing this- one month is a HUGE thing!

I remember when I was brand new in AA and struggling with putting any days sober together. I went to the people that had around one month sober and asked them how they did it. I couldn't comprehend being years sober and one month seemed more attainable.

I'm not sure if you are in AA or not. Believe me, there are people in the rooms of AA who are struggling and you are an example that this thing works...
