Surgery tomorrow

Nothing major but it's in-patient and I had a panic-attack/freak-out moment at the attempted out-patient version a couple of weeks ago. It's not alcohol-related but I felt the urge to post to a group that doesn't know me. I'm just nervous for no good reason.

Thanks, everyone

I freaked out again but medically administered drugs did what they were designed to do and everything was successful. I've never been a drug user (other than alcohol) and am always surprised when I've had anything for surgery or pain - it's no wonder so many people develop addictions.

I know what you mean about the drugs. But I was happy when I hd surgery that they had the medications to keep me comfortable. Also the longer I am sober the less I like the feeling of drugs. I was primarily am alky but would abuse anything when I was active.

Glad everything went as it should. I am SO thankful I never had an attraction to drugs/medications. Alcohol and nicotine are nasty enough!
