"standard blood panel"
i'm getting a "standard blood chemistry panel (including lipids)" (direct quote) for work-related stuff this october. is this going to tell me anything about my liver? it doesn't go into more detail than that. also what's the big fancy medical words for the liver stuff i'm interested in, so i can email them directly and find out if it's included in the blood panel.
thanks

Liver Function Test....(or liver panel, LFT)...GGT, GGTP are included.
you would have to ask to have them run a liver panel, If you are having regular workup it may show up as a "Chem-21 or CBC (complete blood chemistry).
