Labor Day

In the past I know three day weekends were big party one’s for me. Tonight I am going to a Fall Festival, it’s an AA speaker meeting followed by a comedian and some other activities. I’m pretty excited about it and going with good company. I’m looking forward to a fun and sober weekend.

I hope that everyone has a fun & safe weekend as well.

Heh... I'm stuck working all weekend but the money's good... that event you're going to sounds like a GREAT time! Have fun and be safe.

A lot of local Intergroups have Alcathons on Labor Day. If you feel at loose ends with the holiday, do a search for your local Intergroup and see if there's something cookin'.

Sounds like blast, unfortunately I'll be studying most of the weekend

I'm glad you did something positive.

I've been visiting my parents this weekend. I'm going home tomorrow. I have to take my husband to visit one of his drinking buddies. The reason I have to take him is that I don't want him driving around drunk. The buddy is a nice guy. My husband deserves to go see his friend. I'm going to suck it up and keep a smile on my face.
