Today, I think I'd do well with a little support, or a word- or anything. It's a little tougher to go a day without drinking. I'll get through but someone is treating me like a fool, and it makes me feel pretty awful. I hope you are all well.

Sorry about the person annoying you. People will annoy you whether you drink or not, but you'll be in a much better place to deal with it sober.

What are your plans for staying sober?

Forget jerks, let it make you stronger not weaker. Take the high road and think to yourself how getting angry and using is only going to hurt you not them. When you don't drink in the face of this trigger you'll want to laugh at how you beat them.

Thanks, I am going out for a bike ride and to help watch after a friend's 3 year old nephew. I will be in much better company.

Thanks all. I had so much fun yesterday, we took my friend's nephew to the park and we had such a great time. He's high energy and people think he's difficult but he just needs LOTS of attention and I know how that feels! It was great to see him run around doing a repeated, rapid mini- tour of everything in the park and yelling "That was fun!" after every thing he tried.
