day 12
Well this is my 12th day alcohol free and would just like to tell yous all how i feel at the minute. My mind feels alot clearer. i have so much energy pumping through my vains its almost scary lol im even starting to feel better about myself, like im slowly starting to like myself again and feeling proud for doing 12 days. i also have not smoked in 2 days and start my new job on monday. its amazing how much your mind frame changes when you take a step out of the drinking circle. This post is mostly for people who are thinking about quitting and want to really know what its like to stay dry for a while. THis time nearly two weeks ago i was so depressed, hated myself and my life and seen no future...12 days dry and it has all changed....its a slow progress but a very positive one...i almost feel high that im dry lol

I'm on one week today and also feeling great. I find I get tired earlier at night, but when I wake up I have so much more energy and feel like I could conquer the world. It feels so amazing to sleep, rather than just pass out. Anyway good luck as you continue
