Please do call your doctor...or go to an ER
a medical de tox may be safer for you.
It's always a good idea.....

There is a better way of life than feeling sick all the time. Call a doctor and do a safe medical detox then start your path to sobriety in just a few short days :-)

The initial de tox time is generally 3 or 4 days.
1. you had a hard time de toxing twice before.
2. you are currently drinking more now than then
3. you have been sick from alcohol quite awhile.

And those are why I wish you would get professional assistance.

I'm not neccsarily saying a long term treatment center stay.
That also may be indicated if your doctor thinks so.

Yes! you too can win over alcohol
Many of us are doing that very thing
We want you to find sobriety too....

Not only is medical detox a lot more safer, you'll be a lot more comfortable.

hello

I wanted to address the "loving husband on his way out" I am the "loving wife that has left but not giving up". He really needs to understand what you are going through. I mean I have never been addicted to anything EVER in my life so when I was faced with his alcoholism...I was like "WHAT?" Well I have read up on it a lot and I mean my heart goes out to all of you in recovery.
You guys have such strength to go without something that you crave as much as much as oxgen....keep resisting...we are ALL here for you!
for having the strength and commitment!

I totally get how you are feeling right now. The most comforting thought I kept in mind during my own detoxing was, "I never need to feel this way again."

It is SO WORTH IT.

Hi THoff.

Alcoholics Anonymous : How to Find A.A. Meetings

put your zip in.......that'll direct you to your local intergroup hotline. Give them a call and they can tell you where a good meeting is in your area. There are probably several TONIGHT. Being "scared" and "worried" didn't do anything to help me recover from alcoholism. DOING something about it.....that makes a difference.
