Debs, I remember talking about this with you and I was one of the people who was against that method. (Double-checked and sure enough, there is the thread.) I guess my opinion didn't matter much, did it? I'm glad you're in a completely different place now!
((((debs))))
I am so happy to hear from you! You do sound so well! I hope you'll keep posting and let us know about your continuing recovery! It's a beautiful thing to see and gives us all so much hope, joy and comfort to watch the growth of a soul!
Love,
Lenina

Like I always (okay, sometimes) say...whatever works. We are all different even though we may suffer from the same malady. What works for one might not work for another. There is no good reason to criticize another's program. If it works for them, then it's all good.

I am a firm believer in the power of the mind. Although it can seem that alcoholics have no control, it think there is a potential for the exact opposite. We get a bad rap because we appear to have no control. Guess what happens when an addictive person gets addicted to sobriety? They become focused on the the benefit of a clear head and grounded soul. When they truly embrace it nothing will shake them. But it takes time. I am so happy for you. You had that brain change that let you see the proverbial forest for the trees. Blessings.
It's great to hear about success and it's great to hear there are different methods to find it. Congrats Deb!! And thank you cheesegrits, because being that I have such an addictive personality I truly believe that I can become addicted to sobriety.
