Returning to the scene of the Crime
Hey all,
Just checking in with the class. Things are still going well. Today I am driving from houston up to waco texas to see a friend who just got out of rehab. I won't lie it will be weird going back to the city where 'all that evil' happened. But I know I won't drink or use... hopefully I might even be able to help a friend. Send up a prayer for me...

Heya mate. So sorry I missed you on your last week in Singapore, really wanted to get to some meetings with you. I also had issues with a friend during that time which made for a miserable - but thankfully sober - week.
He ended up in a motorcycle accident so I was a bit preoccupied taking him a PS3, my old crutches, and calming down his folks. He's not a drinker thank God, but some knucklehead plowed into him around the area of Far East Plaza/ Grand Hyatt, and he was/is in pretty banged up shape.
Anyway, good to see you made it back ok, and I truly hope "the scene of the crime" doesn't haunt you too much. If it does, SR is not far away, nor am I (internetally speaking.

Well I am leaving tommorow. My friend said he was with his girlfriend then his phone went dead. Hope everything is alright but hey what am I gonna do. I have spent a lot of time around my old friends who are still active. It's been good to catch up. They have been real supportive of my sobriety which is cool. I am really glad I left and got clean after seeing them--that lifestyle seems so narrow...
