A doubt regarding the liver

Can liver actually feel pain!? I did my last check-up a couple years ago but I'm little paranoid now, I use to feel some pains in the location of my liver, also pain in my back, I'm still sober, but my last shot was 3 weeks ago. This can be related to liver issues!? I was really a massive binger from 16 to 26 years old

You are going to have to ask your doctor- they are the only one who will be able to provide you with an answer. Continue to take care and stay sober.

Any time you feel pain is a good time to visit the Dr, flavinho.

Livers cannot be in "pain", however when damaged they can swell and the swelling causes pain in nearby areas. If very diseased, the liver not only swells, but starts giving off a ton of fluid, which can displace other organs and tissues causing discomfort. I am not a doctor, this is just information that I received while helping to care for a dear friend who died from liver disease. That being said, there could be completely differdnt reasons for your symptoms, gallbladder, pancreas, kidneys etc. Please see a doctor so you know what you're dealing with..a lot of medical conditions are treatable if diagnosed early enough.
