7 days sober

I made it through the weekend. It feels great to wake up without a massive hangover and no regrets of getting wasted and doing dumb crap.

Hey, me too. I'm 7 days as well. I'm doing ok, but really starting to notice the "brain fog". I felt so clear headed on days 2 and 3, but now every day I'm more foggy. You can really tell how saturated you were and I'm expecting to feel like this for weeks at least. Still, day by day is how we got this far.

Hey there, that's just one of the benefits of a sober weekend... Other things you'll begin to take for granted:

you will know where your keys are
you will know where your car is
there will be no disturbing YouTube vids of you that you don't remember being in
you will not wake up married and have no idea how that happened
you will not wake up covered in sharpie marker
you will be the one calling your friend going, "DUDE, do you KNOW what you did last night?!!"

These are just a few! Welcome.

Congrats! I remember the trying to get sober and yes, making it through the weekend was a HUGE hurdle. Job well done.

I'm now sober almost 6 months, mostly due to AA.

You know, sharpie DOES come off with 5 or 6 good scrubbings.
