Feel like I'm lost

I don't know what to say. I have been a memeber for years. My husband is in recovery. My kids are now teens. I just am at a loss at how to cope. I know that's not much information....Sorry! Just really not feeling myself. Thanks for listening.

Is there something in particular you feel unable to cope with? Do you have a problem with drinking? Just trying to understand....:grouphug:

there's a phenomenon I've heard of called "stage two recovery." It is about what you do after you're secure in your sobriety to enable yourself to pursue the life you want. There are a couple of books on the subject, one of which I recall asking "Who is driving this bus?" meaning, who is in control of your mind and thinking and decisions? Is it your old, negative, anxious alcoholic self, or is it a confident, happy, sober self?

I think AA has the same principle in place, and I myself have come to this site searching for answers about long term sobriety and the pursuit of happiness.
