My sister's birthday

So I need some advice, please. My little sister's 21st birthday is today. She's having a party this evening and I am feel anxious just thinking about going. I know 21st birthdays are all about drinking and this being my 4th day sober only I don't think I can go and not drink.

The problem is I feel really, really bad about not going. She and I are just becoming friends after years of not talking. I haven't told anyone about my quitting and I don't know what else to say to her to make it right.

What would you do?

Your sobriety comes first.

Go early, leave early. Don't drink.

If you cannot do this then don't go at all.

Perhaps inviteing her to dinner to celebrate
just the 2 of you....would be better.
Make her day a special treat for 2......
