This guy I met at my first meeting last night suggested a time and place for the meeting tonight. He said it's for young people. The meeting is coded as OBBYP, which I assume means open big book young person's meeting but I don't actually know what that means... it's out of my neighborhood & I'd have to take the train to get there, which isn't terribly expensive but it's still spending money so before I do that I wanna know what it is. Thanks

tho I have no way of knowing for certain.

I think it's more important to find a meeting
you can easily attend.....than to concern yourself
with the age of who is there.

My home group has members rangeing from 80 to
17.....we are all there for the same reason....
to live sober with purpose and in joy....

I whole heartily agree with Carol . Going to " a meeting you can easily attend " to begin with; .... for sure, esp. since you seemed comfortable and safe there.
