I just wanted to pop in for a moment. I posted about 3 weeks ago and a little thereafter. I'm doing well. The bulldozer that hit me three weeks ago after I woke up with that god-awful hangover gave me real reason for concern. I looked into aa meetings, attempted to go to one (that wasn't there), had some issues about going, and as the days passed I began thinking that perhaps that bulldozer was what I needed. While I did daydream about drinking on a future vacation, as the days have passed, I've actually thought less and less about drinking, and the Fridays (this is the second) haven't been bad. I was finding myself on Thursdays thinking, "YIPPEE! I can drink tomorrow," but I haven't gone down that road of thought the last couple of weeks.
So this is where I am right now. Feeling pretty good. Thanks.
