Yes.....I had the same problem last week when I was
wanting to check something in our AA literature
Then ...I somehow got involved with upgradeing
Adobe Reader.
That failed when my ISP kicked me off line.
The whole deal was a No Go for me....
Hope you can work it out Me
You could PM one of our SR AA members
if you want to talk about AA or ask questions.

I remember when nearly every website offered text only alternatives, but it's past tense now.
I upgraded my Flash last week for a different website - took me 5-10 mins.
10 mins isn't much in the big scheme of things, me

Its real old school thats for sure, used to be that everyone wanted to have a crappy flash on their site, talking 10 years ago, i'd walk into a contract and they would say we have this great idea, let me guess flash? Ok are you an intereactive games site or offering some kind of design service, no, then no flash! It's bad for usability and also for website promotion.
If the flash on the aa site maybe had stories from the BB or stories from individuals on how AA helped them when you rolled over the shadows of the various people that might make some sense, but that's easy enough to do with a stand alone image and some simple javascript script...
No idea why i wrote that...hmmm, welcome to SR:-)

There are hundreds of other websites that have fellowship information and literature available. Some even have speaker recordings that can be listened to in Media Player. Good luck in your search to enhance your recovery!

Reading meditations, using my church for support, other online sites, recovery-related reading material, etc. Depending on the AA site and holding it accountable for my sobriety and serenity just wouldn't make feel too secure and confident.
I hope you're OK.
