That's my thought on the situation. It seems like a lifestyle choice but it really isn't. The person didn't want to grow up this way when they were younger. It's a disease that they've lost control over.... Just my thoughts....

My Uncle died at 52 from alcoholism. I think the official cause was diabeties related which he got from alcoholism... but they kept removing body parts like his eye and whatnot... they kept telling him if he drinks anymore, he will die. He continued to drink any chance he got until he was in a coma... and then he died. It was very sad.
