I thought that blood circulation issues resulted in cold hands/feet?

it does that too, but if theres almost no blood circulation to the appendage, you'll get the pins and needles feeling; e.g. if you sleep on top of your arm the whole night you'll wake up with pins and needles in the arm

but either way a doctor will know best (hopefully)

Well, the appointment was the biggest non surprise ever. I have neuralgia which accounts for the tingling/ heat in the feet and hands. The nerve conduction test doesnt detect the beginings of neuropathy.

He also reckons after passing out after binge drinking that weekend, i slept on my nerves which travel down the left hand side of the my body. Because i was passed out i didnt shift position as you would if you were in normal sleep, so as a result i compressed the nerves. This accouts for the numbness. He said they wont necessarily recover their uncompressed shape... I mean its been six months already.

This is a real kick in the balls considering last year i developed hyperacusis (sensitivity to sounds) after a band practice.

In conclusion then, I am an idiot.

Thanks for the update. You are not an idiot. No-one here would ever think that.

Drinking alcohol can cause many health problems, some very serious....and ultimately can cause death. Many of us have suffered with health due to our alcohol intake. Some people don't get any warning that their health is on the line until it is too late.

Do you want to quit drinking?
