2010! So futuristic!
Hi, I'm Tex and I've been sober all year!!
I suggest everyone watch that 2010 movie soon. Isn't it funny? Dolphins as pets, we still hate the Russians, Space trips to Jupiter are pretty common, etc...So the time has come to start again; but this time it is also a new decade. Why not choose sobriety?
Waking up and hitting a meeting on New Years Day was a trip. This time last year I was sober, but not working a program. I'm happier today. We had breakfast burritos and tons of coffee and all the laughter in the room. It was, dare I say, "fun."
I'm not here to recruit or be an evangelical, just telling you what's been working for me.
Best wishes to all SR'ers for a great new decade. It can be done and there's a million ways to do it, just do it.
