Movies...lot`s of boozing going on. Some even have recovering alcoholics.
I love the gritty film noir genre.
“Barfly” “Leaving Las Vegas” “Days Of Wine And Roses”
are my top 3 alkie flicks.
Have any of you favorites to recommend?

Yes 28 Days was a good one too. I remember we all had to watch it in detox as part of the program. One of the staff sat in front of us, near the tv and watched it with us. Every now and then, usually during the intense moments, she'd observe us all while scribbling in her notebook. Made me really paranoid. Still enjoyed the movie though!
Good to see you again, Tim.

Good to be back! I usually access this board while at work (there are some advantages to being the network engineer!) but I've been on the road quite a bit the last few months (with work). Man, you sober up and people want to give you responsibilites!!
Anyhew, I forgot another one, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. I had read the book whilest in college and it became a big book of sorts to me at that time. Watching the movie now can take me back to that feeling of insanity and paranoia very quickly. However, now I can smile. I know that i don't have to be there anymore. God truly is doing for me what I can't do for myself.
Have a good 1/365!
