As far as "alcoholic thinking" goes, well i consider the obsession to drink my alcoholic thinking, but that's about it.

The rest of my screwed up thinking has nothing to do with alcohol and everything to do with my being dishonest, selfish, and self-seeking. I can be all of those things without having the obsession to drink.

I know in my case it was not "Best Thinking" that led me to booze. It was "Delusional Thinking" that made me think I could somehow get it back under control.
