I don't think anyone here really needs an apology... from my perspective, when I relapsed, I forced myself to look into why I had done what I did, took steps to ensure it didn't happen again, and got my butt back to meetings.

Care to share any more details? The way I see it, if you had fun and it didn't affect anyone else negatively, then the only burden is the one upon you, if any.

Just get back on your horse and give it a whirl again. Try to be a little stronger this time around. Pretty sure we all know it isn't easy, but it is possible.

Not my favorite athlete but I found this quote inspiring.

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. Twenty-six times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
~ Michael Jordan

(unless you slept with a sheep of course)

Sounds like you're not done drinking yet. Each of us has our own path to walk, no?

Personally I've used up my right to chemical peace of mind, alcohol or otherwise.

Well today, I feel like that was a mistake. But now the urge is out of my system (for now).

Well, if it was fun for you, gonna suggest two things, they may or may not surprise you..

You're not done yet.

You're probably wasting your time here.

But, it is your time, after all.

I think the only apology needed is to yourself. Forgive youself and get right back up, dust the dirt off and get back to getting sober. I believe no one elses opinion counts except for yours for you. Good luck.

I used to think getting drunk and riding a motorcycle at high speeds, in traffic, was 'fun'.

But in reality... I was just in a bad place inside of my mind.

Jeb18 - when you are ready for help we'll be here.
