Okay 5 days sober, 3 meetings in a row, and I am working with a sponsor on step 1. I just keep thinking about women. I know I shouldnt call any for a while, but I am just....ahhhh I dont know. I guess I am just wanting some attention. That sounds so bad.

in my experience its quiet common for alcoholics to try to fix how they feel without booze.........with other "stuff"...

Ive seen it often and i experienced some it it myself.......
gambling....sex........money.......the full spectrum.
just gotta escape and fill that hole.

so is it about booze?..........or is it about me.

read through those steps again.........dont mention booze much do they.

i can fix drinking by stopping..........i can fix me by having a program this gets to the nitty gritty of the real me....its a power greater than me that i need and rely on.......not sex money or gambling..
