Got the flu...and withdrawal....
I just can't keep down much especially drink and I'm shaking up on top of it all with withdrawals.
I've got some valium (2mg two tablets) but it's not doing any good.
This should be an opportunity for me to detox but I'm so damned ill and I don't think I can do it or it would be wise to try.
I feel like absolute **** and I don't know what to do.

(((Harry))) - Good to see you back. I hate that you're sick, but I hope you are at the point where you're willing to do what you need to do to stop drinking because you are worth a clean and sober life!

I don't know what else to suggest mate.
If you're too sick for detox you definitely need medical help.
If your partner and yr friend aren't helping, maybe you need a doctor with a little bit of impartiality where you can have a professional relationship?
Good luck to you.

Very often de toxing is similar to the flue symptoms.
If you have the flue....it will take longer to feel better
The initial de tox from alcohol is usually 3 or 4 days.
Yes...you to can get thru the next few days
and begin to make progress on your sobriety....
