I'm back
Had lots of fun on vacation! Booze was plentiful, but didn't drink a drop and ended up really enjoying myself. There were a few times when I thought how easy it would be to just start taking shots w/ people, but drove into town and called my sponsor every day. Think that helped. It was nice to actually get up early and enjoy my coffe by the lake instead of sleeping off a hangover until noon. Have 24 days today. Hope y'all are having a good week so far. Ready to go see my home group tonight.

I love sober mornings, just chillin' and enjoying the start of a new day in recovery.
Hi Littlebluedog!
Congrats on your 24 days! From reading your posts you really sound like you are taking recovery seriously and doing your part in recovery. I immersed myself in AA when I got sober, got a Sponsor and worked the steps and have no desire for alcohol whatsoever. I have added SR to my list of recovery tools today. Just keep going and you will do great!!
